I can’t believe that this year is almost over. It has been a good year for audiobooks. I’ve listened to 110 audiobooks this year. This is down a bit, but I’ve also listened to seven books that were over 20 hours long. One of those was The Stand by stephen King, which was 47 hours long. So, I’m going to call it a win.
Audible also did a ton of great deals as the celebrated their 20th anniversary. Audible also created the Narrator Hall of Fame and had their first round in inductees. If you haven’t check out the new Narrator Hall of Fame. I know several of my favorites were included and some that are new to me, but I’ll be on the lookout for something from them, for sure. Last, Audible has a new package for romance readers. You get unlimited access to their list of books (look for the R on book page). It is $6.95 per month for members and $14.95 for non-members.

Thanks as always for hosting this! My commute would be so stressful without audiobooks. And I’m looking forward to checking out a few that you listened to and liked. 🙂
My road rage is so much better now since I found audiobooks. LOL 😀

I hit my all-time high of 70 this year and I think I can still squeeze in a couple more before the year is out.
Loved doing the challenge. Thanks for your part in hosting, Melanie and Loupe! 🙂

Thanks for hosting – I’ve managed for a couple of years now to knock out 70 or more titles – I jumped into plenty of cozies this year – a nice change!
70+ is a great number. I’ve heard many great things about cozies on audio, but I’ve yet to try them. I swear I will one day.

My goal was 50 and I’m at 48 with two weeks left so I should succeed! 🙂
YOu’ll get that number easily, unless you pick a really long book. I listened to The Stand by Stephen King this year at 47 hours. I have 8 books over 20 hours, including The Stand. I loved them all. Well worth my time.

I posted last week and at that time finished 50 books. I’ve since finished one more and will probably finish another before year’s end! My goal was 52 and I should make it! Thanks for the fun!!
That’s great that you’ll meet your goal. I’ve seen that you’ve had some great reads. I hope you have as many next year.

I am soooo behind on reviewing the books I have sitting at 100% currently reading status on Good Reads – 22 books to be exact. I’ll probably end up only star reviewing them before the Good Reads yearly challenge ends. Hopefully, I can get inspired to go back and write quick reviews, but I couldn’t think of what to say on them other than I loved or enjoyed them. Fortunately, I hit my Marathoner goal. Most of them were really good narrators with only a few so-so or not that good narrators. So overall, I feel like it was a very good listening year. Happy 2018 challenge, audiobook junkies! =)
I don’t review all the books I read/listen to. I’m not even good about star rating them. I did “fun” reads for 39 books this year. Some were rereads, some I just didn’t review. I’m so glad that you had so many books with good narrators. Great narrators can really bring up the enjoyment of just okay books. I hope you find just as many great audiobooks in 2018.

It looks like the linky is already closed, and I always post my wrap ups on 12/31 since I’m still posting book reviews up until the very end of the year. If you click the link, you’ll find my wrap up post. I made my goal for 12 audiobooks!

Augh! Must have forgotten to put my name in there. This was from Mark.
Sorry about that. We must’ve put the wrong time in. I hope you still entered the giveaway.

That certainly would explain it. I was rather surprised when I discovered the list wouldn’t let me add my link. I did enter the giveaway yesterday.
