I’m in! I love experiencing more books through audio than I ever could just in print.
I’m going for Marathoner this year and hope to hit 100.
Agreed. I love how narrators really bring the stories to life.
I’m in! I fell off the wagon with audios in 2019… Life just got in the way. But, I’m determined to get back on board in 2020 with Stenographer!
I completely understand. I was quite a bit down on my numbers too. I hope you have a better 2020.
If I could do audiobooks I would be all over this! Good luck to everyone!
Thanks 🙂 It is a fun challenge
Oh yay! A 100+ club! I had 120 this year. Not sure I can outdo that. Most of them were free too throught my library on Overdrive and Hoopla. And they have a new program called RBdigital now too. I am an Audible subscriber and have gotten several free audiobooks free from authors to review.
Yes, we added the 100+ club thanks to Kimberly’s suggestion. We do have quite a few challenge participants that do make it over 100 each year. I didn’t make that number this year, but I have in the past. I hope that I can get back up to that number next year. I hope you find some great listens.
I’m going for the 100 + this year. Thanks for hosting, Melanie! 🙂
You’re very welcome. I really enjoy this challenge and seeing everyone’s list of audiobooks. I always find new audiobooks to add to my pile.
Forgot to say, hope you’re having a wonderful holiday, too! 🙂
Have a wonderful holiday! Here’s to many great audiobooks in 2020.
Signed up! I am also DEVASTATED that there now is a 100 and I know I can’t manage it in 2020 😉
Unless something changes next year, I won’t reach it either. I know I didn’t make it this year.
I’m excited to be joining in for the first time! Thanks for hosting! I usually listen to classics via audiobook–some of them are long, and I’d rather listen than have them take up a chunk of my reading time. Plus some of them are wordy, which I don’t mind if I am listening while doing something with my hands. If I were reading them, I’d probably speed scan or skip some sections. I love the nuances I get from listening to a narrator that I probably would not have picked up on with my own reading.
So glad to have you joining us, Barbara. I’ve listened to a few classics that I don’t think I could’ve done any other way. The big one being, Dante’s Divine Comedy. I’ve also listened to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Audible’s full cast rendition of Dracula is really good too. I need to pick up another classic, because it has been a while.
Stupid question… but how would I sign up?
