I’m Melanie and I live in Ohio. I have two horses and a dog. I’m an animal lover, avid book reader and audiobook listener. I like to live vicariously through fictional characters. I enjoy reading and listening to mostly fictional books in the paranormal genre, including Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Horror. My favorite paranormal creatures are shifters, doesn’t matter the flavor.

  1. I haven’t read these authors but they are on my TBR. I’m really curious about Hades. I’ll have to check that out. Great list!

    • I love the Demonica series by Larissa Ione, which spins off into Lords of Deliverance (Four Horseman of the Apocalypse). Hades is one of the later books.

  2. OMG swoon love your book boyfriends! They’re all such great picks! Thanks so much for taking part in the Top 10 of 2015! Looking forward to seeing the last of your Top 10’s tomorrow 😀

    • Thanks. I’ve had fun revisiting all these books from 2015. Thanks for putting this on.

  3. Awesome picks! Naasir was on my list too. I can’t wait to read Shards of Hope! I’m glad to see the hero of that one on your list as well.

    • Oh, Shards of Hope was a lot of fun. Great insight into the Arrows.

  4. I need to read so many of these books – some of them I haven’t even started the series 🙁 but I do agree about Owen! I need to catch up, but even where I am now he’s pretty great!

    • I know how that goes. I’ve got several series that I still need to start. Reading through other people’s Top 10 list and there are many series that I knew almost nothing about.

  5. I haven’t read any of these but I now need to read Hade’s book, I didn’t realize she wrote a book about him!!!!

    • Yes, she did a novella about him and Azagoth. They are both great. I highly recommend for Demonica fans.

  6. If you read Kate Daniels, who doesn’t love Curran? Even I know he’s total book boyfriend material!

Hades, huh? Hmmm, I’ll have to seek that one out! I’ve gotten behind on my Ione stories, especially those little short stories she sticks everywhere 🙂

    • I really loved Hades and Azagoth’s stories. I even liked the most recent M/M one. I have to write my review for that one. Should be on Rabid Reads soon.

  7. I haven’t met these book boyfriends yet. I must get acquainted with them! It looks like a great list. Thanks for sharing.

    • It would be hard to pick one to start with. They are all lovely. I hope you enjoy.

  8. Oh yes! There are some very yummy book-boyfriends on your list, Melanie! I love that you have more than one of the psy-changeling guys on there, too 🙂

    • One Psy/Changeling and one from Guild Hunter, two Nalini because I love her books. Naasir was one I knew would be on the list without thinking about it. I just loved him to pieces.

  9. Hmmmm…I haven’t met any of your book boyfriends. I must remedy that immediately! LOL Thanks for the recs.

    • I had the same thing when I visited many sites. So many YA, which I don’t read that much of. I tend to stick with mostly PNR and UF, if you couldn’t tell, LOL. I added so many books to my TBR list, though from visiting everyone’s lists at the end of the year. So many books, so little time.

  10. I haven’t read any of those! Great list.
