New Audiobooks-January 2016

New Audiobooks – January 2016.

In case you are looking to add more exciting titles to your TBL list we have collected some of the most popular new audiobooks for January 2016.

There are a few in this list that I know Melanie and I can’t wait to get our little ears on.

There are also new Authors I’m looking forward to reading, as well as some old favorites like, Darynda Jones, Karen Marie Moning, Kelly Armstrong and Stephen King.

I’ve heard a lot good things about Passenger by Alexandra Bracken so I’m thrilled that is being released on audio right away.

Two new narrators for Feverborn, and even though I really enjoy their performances of other novels  I’m not sure how I feel about the change. I’m not a big fan of narrators switches in the middle of a series, especially since one of the biggest enjoyments I got from this series has been listening to the two original narrators. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

I hope you can find audiobooks that bring pleasure to your ears 🙂

Check them out on GOODREADS

  1. Oh Kelley Armstrong made the list! I love her books, although I haven’t tried them in audiobook. I really have to try and catch up on her Otherworld anthologies as I am a bit behind on those.
The cover for Passenger is so pretty! And I’ve heard a few times of Truthwitch already, it sounds interesting.
I haven’t read Burned by Karen Marie Moning yet and not sure if I will and continue the series as I haven’t heard too many good things about it, so I’ll wait and see what people think of Feverborn.
I got an e-copy review copy of The Duke of my Heart through netgalley, I am looking forward to reading it!

    • OH MY GOD! If you only pick one audio book in like ever! It has to be MAN OF THE OTHERWORLD by Kelly Armstrong! If you’re a fan of that series you’d love that anthology on audio.
I loved Burned, but I’m in the minority 🙁
I’m normally really thrilled about new installments in the Fever series, but the new readers have me nervous..LOL
Let me know how The Duke of My Hearts is, I’ve added to my wish list.

      • I might give it a try once. Melanie also recommended I start with a book I already knew in audiobook format.
I love the Otherworld anthologies so far, although Man of the Otherworld is probbaly sitll my favourite, I loved getting all the backstory about Clay.

That’s good to hear you loved Burned. I am still on the fence whether I want to read it, so I’ll wait till reviews of Feverborn come in.

I’ll let you know How The Duke of Meart is ocne I’ve read it.

  2. Ahh… new narrators for Feverborn WHY WHY WHY???

  3. I have to finish listening to Burned. Oh no, I love Phil and Natalie’s narration and they will be missed.

    • I’ve been out the loop, so I don’t know the reason why they did this. I hope it works out. I know you must be familiar with Luke Daniels and Jill Redfield and I hope you liked them as much as I do..But still, I hate changes! I feel like I just found out that Davina Porter is no longer reading Outlander.

  4. Feverborn for sure, although I’m taking the book version. Also I’m scared to pick up Kenyon now. It seems she’s adapting the super angsty trend. Can’t stand it!

    • I’m really excited about Kenyon, I haven’t listened to any of her books after Stixx..I know that didn’t worked out for you on audio(or was it Acheron?), but so far I still enjoy her. Will see..eeks! I can’t deal with too much angst so I hope that’s not the case.
      Happy New Year Braine!

  5. That’s quite the list! If I can’t find something to listen to in that then there’s no hope for me. 😀

  6. I’m an audio book junkey to but I prefer to listen to mystery and thrillers you should do a section on mystery and thrillers

  7. Such a fabulous list you have here!!! I love Frank, and her audiobooks I just started listening to and Love them. Jennifer Ryan and Monica McCarty are fabulous to read, but haven’t had the chance to listen to them yet. I need to change that.
