I reached Marathoner level in 2017, so I’m going for it again! Thanks for hosting.
Glad to have you back.
I’m in again. Will try for 25 to 3o again.
Glad to have you back.
My announcement post isn’t going live until Jan 4, but I’m definitely joining you again for this! Thanks for hosting. 🙂
Not a problem at all. Glad you’re back in with us.
DO I dare go for marathoner….Since I might actually reach it this year so why not next too! WIll make a post tomorrow and sign up
Yay! Glad to have you in.
I’m in once again. Going for Marathoner! 🙂
Glad to have you back for another year.
I am going with Marathoner again, but personally trying to hit 100.
I’m at 116 in audiobooks this year. I expect to be more next year. I listened to 8 books over 20 hours, one of which was The Stand at 47 hours. 🙂
I’ve signed up again! I love this challenge. I don’t have a set goal yet, though I think Stenographer is realistic again since I tend to listen to 1 audiobook a month.
i’m glad you’re joining us again. I hope that you enjoy all of your audios.
I am going for Marathon again. I listened to more audiobooks than read this year. I think I listened to around 100 audiobooks. I devoured them. I get almost all of them from my library on Overdrive!
My library does a lot of books on CD. I copy them in iTunes and listen and delete when I’m done.
WooHoo! I’m going to try for the Socially Awkward again next year. I almost made it this year, but not quite 🙂
Thanks for hosting us!
I’m glad you’re joining us again. I love sharing my love of audiobooks with everyone.
Good luck to everyone. If I change my mind, this will be the challenge I do… we shall see. 🙂
If you ever want recommendations of something to try, let me know. I’ll be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
OK. I’ve only upped my goal by a little bit this time. I am aiming for 125 in 2018.
Good luck on that number. I’m at 116 right now. I did listen to a lot of long books this year, eight over 20 hours, so I’m expecting more next year.
307 Audiobooks in 2017..Yes I have a problem 😉 Thanks for letting me play along with you guys!
That is the best problem to have. I’m only at 116 this year. I did have eight books over 20 hours though, so I’m expecting that number to go up next year. I’m glad you’re joining us again.
I’m in again. Marathoner
Glad to have you back. 🙂
I’m going to try for Marathoner again. 🙂
I’m glad to have you back. 🙂
I am so excited for this challenge, its so fun to participate in it every year and audiobooks are so fun to listen to. They just make the story seem more real. Especially if the narrator do a good job with the character’s voices and personalities.
I love that narrators do such a great job bringing the stories to life. I’ve gotten to where I follow narrators like I do with authors. I’ll pick up a new-to-me author based on the narrator that I love.
First time doing this challenge. Going for the Marathoner. I can listen to books all day at work.
Glad to have you join us. I’m able to listen to books at work too. It make make some boring tasks much less so.
I still need to tally up how many I managed to do this year, I’ll aim for marathoner though 😉
Glad to have you back again. I’m sure you will find many great audiobooks next year.
This will be my first year participating! I’m going to go for Marathoner! I have been listening to audiobooks for years and I am excited to be a part of this challenge!
Glad to have you joining us this year, Brandi. I can’t wait to see what audiobooks you find. Happy Listening.
Going for 52 books again for 2018! And looking forward to some joint listens with you, Melanie! Woo hoo!
I do enjoy the joint listens. It is always fun to have someone to go down these fun journeys with. I hope we find some great books. 😀
I am off to write my sign-up post 🙂 I absolutely love audiobooks so this is the perfect challenge for me 🙂
Glad to have you, Megan. I hope you find some great listens.
I’m going for my first ever audio-goal – Stenographer!
I hope you find some really great listens.
I went up a level to Socially Awkward. Audiobooks are great to listen to so I can knit or make cards at the same time.
That is what I love about audiobooks, too. I love being able to multitask while I’m listening. Cleaning my house isn’t as bad as it used to be. 😉
I love audiobooks so I’m so glad I found this challenge. I’m going for Socially Awkward as I managed Stenographer last year without being aware of the challenge. 🙂
We are glad to have you. I hope you find some great listens in 2018. Good luck on your challenge.
I am going for “Socially Awkward”. I have been listening to audiobooks while cooking from last two years. They are really great.
That is my favorite thing about audiobooks, the ability to multitask. I hope you find some great listens.
I’m in for 10-15. I’m aiming for one audiobook a month! 🙂
I hope you find some great listens.
Going for Marathoner again! Love doing this with the group! Thanks for hosting!
You’re very welcome. I hope you find some great listens.
Just found your Challenge. I am a audio junkie, so joined!!
Glad to have you join us. I hope you find some great listens.
Loving this challenge! Is there a place to link up the books we’ve read?
You can make your list anywhere. If you have a blog, you can do a post with your list. Some people create a shelf on Goodreads. You can use Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook. Anywhere you can make a list of the books you listened to.
I just started! Last year was the first time I ever listened to an audiobook. So this year will be great to challenge myself to do it! Thanks for doing this.
Mary
Glad to have you. It is always fun to have new audiobook listeners to the group. I hope you find some really great listens this year.
I saw the email and dropped by to check in. I am almost finished with #74. I’ve had 2 surgeries in 8 months and have lots of time on my hands, but cannot use my hand, Audiobooks are getting me through.
74, I hope you found some great ones. Audiobooks have saved me when I’ve had bad headaches and the idea of staring at a page sounds horrible. They can really save you, for sure. I hope you’re doing better now.
Thanks, still have very limited use of my hand and arm. Audiobookboom is an amazing newsletter that comes out weekly and keeps me in free audiobooks for a review. Found lots of great books and some not so great but free is always great.
You can never go wrong with free. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Just counted mine1 and I am at 76 and counting. I have that the google app version of goodreads dont let you change the book you’re reading.
I’m not a huge fan of the Goodreads app (I’m on iPhone). I usually just go to the website. It works better for me. 76 is a great number. I hope you found some great stories.
I just found the event I want to join in, I hope i can go futher once I entry here. I should be too late for this, I’ll share this with my friends also.
Glad you found us. Here’s the link for the 2019 challenge. https://www.hotlistens.com/2019-audiobook-challenge-sign-up/
