Melanie Simmons
I’m Melanie and I live in Ohio. I have two horses and a dog. I’m an animal lover, avid book reader and audiobook listener. I like to live vicariously through fictional characters. I enjoy reading and listening to mostly fictional books in the paranormal genre, including Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Horror. My favorite paranormal creatures are shifters, doesn’t matter the flavor.

  1. I’m not familiar with any of the books or narrators in this category. There were a LOT of nominations though!

    • I’ve not tried any of these books either. I am familiar with a few of the authors and narrators.

  2. New books to try.

  3. Adore Rhys Ford and Greg Tremblay!!

    • I haven’t tried them, but I will have to give them a try.

  4. I would gladly read the dictionary if it were written by Rhys Ford and narrated by Greg Tremblay.

    • I have author/narrator teams I feel the same way about. I’ll have to give these two a try.

  5. I really liked the combination of Kai kennicott and Wen Ross

    • I haven’t listened to a book with these two, but I did see them on a panel at RT17 in Atlanta. They did sound really good.

  6. I don’t listen to much in this genre, but there are a few up there I’m curious about. One made one of the top positions so far! 😀

    • I haven’t listened to any of these, but I am familiar with some of these authors and narrators. I’ve gotten behind on some of these series.

  7. So thankful to have my books on this list! Thank you for making such a great opportunity!

    • You’re very welcome. It is fun to get all the romance fans together to root for their favorite books. Also a great way to find new authors and narrators. Good luck!

  8. While I’ve read some of these, I’ve not listened to them, but I am familiar with a few of the narrators. Fun vote!

    • I haven’t read or listened to any of these. I’ve read a few of the authors, but gotten behind on the series (which I need to remedy). I’ve tried a few of the narrators, but several that I want to try.

  9. Love Greg Trembley on Dim Sum Asylum and any of Rhys Ford’s books he is able to bring all the characters to life

    • I’m hearing a lot of great things about this author/narrator pair. I’m going to have to give them a try.

  10. I adore Greg Tremblay and Rhys Ford as a team.
And I love Joel Froomkin’s narration as well!

    • I’ll have to see if I can give them a try. Thanks for stopping by.

  11. Greg Tremblay is a master at his craft & Rhys Ford does a great job with action/suspense/thriller/mystery

    • I haven’t tried the pair, but I keep hearing great things that I’m going to have to check them out for sure.

  12. I love Frankie Loves works,

  13. Ooooo Greg Tremblay!!!! I love that book and he is the best.

    • I haven’t tried him, but I’m going to have to change that.

  14. I didn’t vote in this one – I don’t listen to/read erotic romance really, and I’m not familiar with any of these books. But… I’ll be back for the other categories!

    • I’m not familiar with any of these books either, though I have read some of the authors and really enjoyed them. A few of the narrators too. You’ll have to stop by this weekend for Fantasy. You will have a hard time narrowing it down to three. I know that I did.
