Melanie Simmons
I’m Melanie and I live in Ohio. I have two horses and a dog. I’m an animal lover, avid book reader and audiobook listener. I like to live vicariously through fictional characters. I enjoy reading and listening to mostly fictional books in the paranormal genre, including Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Horror. My favorite paranormal creatures are shifters, doesn’t matter the flavor.

  1. I can’t believe I haven’t read any of these. Guess I am not voting. Darn it!

    • I’ve actually listened to all of these. There are some great audios in this list. There really isn’t a bad choice.

  2. Great reading and fun getting to read final book

    • It is always bittersweet getting to a final book. It is fun to see how it all ends, but sad to know that we won’t have more time with these characters.

  3. Jeanine Frost’s talent brings you there…the character development and storyline….it’s all there. Thanks, Ms. Frost!

    • I do love all the books in the Night Huntress World, including all the spin off books. I’m so excited to see what she has next.

  4. I have listened to Into the Fire, and the narration was really good. Even if the book wasn’t my favorite of the series.

    • Yeah, this wasn’t my favorite in the series either. I did enjoy it. I’m excited for Ian’s book. I love Tavia Gilbert’s narration of the series.

  5. Dang I haven’t read any either but Deadly Silence looks really good!

    • I love the Blood Brothers series. I would recommend you start with book one, Lethal Lies. Deadly Silence is book two. Romantic Suspense with a hint of paranormal.

    • There is no bad choice in this list, though I will admit to liking some more than others. But all great books with wonderful narrators.

  6. Oh these look good. Those I haven’t heard I want to hear! All look like winners to me! 😀 (Yes, I did pick one… )

  7. Oooh Silver Silence! That one was good!

  8. I love Vlad! I need to listen to the other books soon.
