I really love being in Beechwood Harbor. It is a really fun small town with some fun paranormal characters. In this book however, we spend more time in the Seattle Haven as Holly works to get her potions license and be allowed back into the Havens system. However, her greatest ally was found dead in Seattle proper.

I don’t want to go too much into the investigation. I will just say that I really liked the SPA investigator, who is an eagle shifter (I can’t remember her name at the moment). I didn’t like her partner, a bear shifter, from the beginning.

Because this book doesn’t take up a lot of time in Beechwood Harbor, we don’t see as much of some characters, like the humans, Nick, the PI that Holly has worked with in previous books. He does make an appearance and there are some other things with him, but he isn’t involved in this investigation this time. We also don’t seem much of the ghost landlord or vampire roommate. We do, however, get plenty of time with boyfriend and werewolf, Adam. And also her witch friend, Evie.

Anyway, this is another fun addition to this series. If you like your paranormal with some humor and some light romance, this is a fun series.

Witch Way Home Audiobook Narration

5 Hearts

Amanda Ronconi is amazing with this series. She really brings out the humor with her narration. I love the voices that she chooses for each of the characters, both male and female. Her pacing and tone are always spot on. She has yet to disappoint me with anything she’s put out.

From a young age, Danielle Garrett was obsessed with fantastic places and the stories set in them. As a lifelong bookworm, she’s gone on hundreds of adventures through the eyes of wizards, princesses, elves, and some rather wonderful everyday people as well.

Danielle now lives in Oregon and while she travels as often as possible, she wouldn’t call anywhere else home. She shares her life with her husband and their house full of animals, and when not writing, spends her time being a house servant for three extremely spoiled cats.

I’m Melanie and I live in Ohio. I have two horses and a dog. I’m an animal lover, avid book reader and audiobook listener. I like to live vicariously through fictional characters. I enjoy reading and listening to mostly fictional books in the paranormal genre, including Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Horror. My favorite paranormal creatures are shifters, doesn’t matter the flavor.

  1. I love these types of reads/listens Melanie thanks for sharing

  2. THis series does sound good. What am I waiting for?!

  3. I do love a good paranormal with some romance and humor.

  4. Each time I see your reviews of these, I know they will be just my thing. I like the blend of comedy, mystery, and paranormal in a lighter story like this. And, Amanda Ranconi… 😉

  5. I don’t know what has kept me from cozy mysteries lately. I saw this one and was going to get it, but didn’t want to jump in in the middle of the series. This definitely sounds like something I should pick up the beginning of though. I love humor in my paranormal!

  6. I am having a blast with this series. I just listened to book 6 Lucky Witch. Ranconi rocks as the narrator for the series.

    • I have it, but haven’t started it yet. Ronconi is a rockstar in my book. 🙂

  7. I really do like these type of reads, especially in the fall for some reason. Glad this was a good one!

    • Well, then you are in the perfect time to start this series. 😉

  8. I really do want to get to these. They sound so fun. Glad you are still enjoying them Melanie.

  9. That’s a series I would be curious to try

  10. Oh, this sounds like fun and I love this narrator. I will keep it in mind.

  11. I recall that I really liked this one, but I’d have to go back and look at my reviews. I have the next one for listening coming up. I think there are only 6 books. It’s been a fun series – so glad I tried it!

    • I’m really glad I tried this series too. It has been a lot of fun. I’ve grabbed other cozy mysteries because I loved this series so much.

  12. I’ve been wanting to try this series for a while now. It sounds so fun! I also love the cover for this one. It reminds me of the old Bewitched TV series. 🙂

    • The covers are adorable. They are a bit like the animated intro to Bewitched. I haven’t watched that show in ages and I loved it.
