Melanie Simmons
I’m Melanie and I live in Ohio. I have two horses and a dog. I’m an animal lover, avid book reader and audiobook listener. I like to live vicariously through fictional characters. I enjoy reading and listening to mostly fictional books in the paranormal genre, including Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Horror. My favorite paranormal creatures are shifters, doesn’t matter the flavor.

  1. Great titles. A lot of these are on my wish list. I didn’t vote because I hadn’t listened to any of them..LOL

    • I haven’t tried any of these either. I’m finding new authors to try with these awards. I’m sure we will have some you’ve listened to in the PNR and Romantic Suspense categories that go live on Friday.

That’s the boat I’m in with STAY by AL Jackson and The Play Mate by Kendall Ryan. I’m holding out for Audible to put both on sale since I already own both in e-book but need them in audiobook format in order to actually read them.

      • I hold out a lot for audiobooks. Great narrators just bring so much to a story.

  2. I’ve been seeing a few of those titles making the rounds on blogs and they look good.

    • I haven’t read or listened to any of these, but like you, I’ve seen some good reviews for several of them.

    • I haven’t read any of these either. I’ve seen some great reviews for some of these.

  3. WRONG by Jana Aston was one of my top favorite listens this year.

    • I haven’t tried it. I’ll have to add to my TBR. So many are being added from these nominations.

    • I haven’t read any of these either. My TBR list is growing by leaps and bounds. 🙂
